Day 21 路 Let's pray for persecuted Christians

馃敀馃Depending on where you live, it is very difficult to live out your Christian faith. According to Christianity Today, every day, 8 Christians worldwide are killed because of their faith. Every week, 182 churches or Christian buildings are attacked. And every month, 309 Christians are imprisoned unjustly.

馃Bible text of the day: 1 Corinthians 12:26-27

馃摉Read the Bible text of the day,

If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad. All of you together are Christ鈥檚 body, and each of you is a part of it. (1 Corinthians 12:26-27, NLT)

and write down in your journal:

馃挕What is God telling you through this passage/verse?

馃敡How can you apply it in your life?

馃檹馃徏What is your prayer? (See prayer prompts below.)

馃憠馃徑During our prayer time, let鈥檚 focus our attention on asking for persecuted Christians:

鉁匬ray for protection of your persecuted brothers and sisters In Christ. There are more than 250 Christians who die every month because of their faith.

鉁匬ray for strength to endure the trials they face and that the churches in those countries would remain bold.

鉁匬ray for an extra cover of protection over Christian women who endure double persecution for their faith and gender.
