Day 17 · Let's pray for leaders

🌐When you look around you, do you find any great leaders? Sometimes we may feel greatly disappointed by the leaders that surround us, whether in church, at work, in our community or in our country. But the Bible invites us to pray for leaders at all levels. Can you do that today?

🤓Bible text of the day: 1 Timothy 2:1-4

📖Read the Bible text of the day,

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. (1 Timothy 2:1-4, NLT)

and write down in your journal:

💡What is God telling you through this passage/verse?

🔧How can you apply it in your life?

🙏🏼What is your prayer? (See prayer prompts below.)

👉🏽During our prayer time, let’s focus our attention on asking for leaders:

✅Pray for the pastors, elders and leaders of your church and other local churches in your city.

✅Pray for government leaders and those in authority.

✅Pray for leaders in your community: local officials, police officers, school administrators, teachers, first responders, etc.
