Day 4 · Let's play for our neighbours
Updated: Aug 16, 2021
🏘️In our busy city lives, it’s sometimes hard to get to know our neighbours. They may even be strangers to us. How well do you know your neighbours? When was the last time you did something nice for them? Have you ever taken the time to pray for them?
🤓Bible text of the day: 1 Timothy 2:1
📖Read the Bible text of the day,
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people... (1 Timothy 2:1, ESV)
and write down in your journal:
💡What is God telling you through this passage/verse?
🔧How can you apply it in your life?
🙏🏼What is your prayer? (See prayer prompts below.)
👉🏽During our prayer time, let’s focus our attention on asking God for our neighbours:
✅Pray for a neighbour who is hurting (physically, emotionally, etc.)
✅Pray for opportunities to share meaningful conversations and show love to your neighbours.
✅Pray that your neighbourhood is a place where God's love and mercy are shown and for your neighbours to know Jesus.
🎇At the end of our 30-day prayer journey, you will have access to win a beautiful Praying Scripture Journal by @thedailygraceco
